Heater doesnt work setting 4 and

Hi

Purchased my car yesterday, just noticed the heater does not work on setting number 4. Also ive noticed the light does not come on the heater dials.

What can this be?

My first renault megane 2 1.5 dci.

thanks I read the forum but my fans work its only on the number 4 setting it doesn't.

do I need a resistor?

Not working on number 4 usually means its the resistor pack thats packed in..found this hopes it helps you..
