PUT the steering wheel in the straight ahead position,Disconnect the battery ,LEAVE at least 10 minutes, the airbag has to be taken off first,at the 12 to 6 O`clock position/axis there is a hole under neath the steering wheel ,you might be able to feel it ,if not you will have to get down on the floor and look up at it ,you then need to put a screwdriver ,recommended a t30 in this hole, hope you are still with me,once you have found the hole ,get back on your drivers seat push the screwdriver up hard and at the same time slide the airbag up to the wind screen ,you will then see what is holding your steering wheel on ,,undo what ever is there,if its a nut ,then re place it so it is level with the thread, if its a torq pin then undo it ,take it all the way out, then screw back in till it just touches by fingers undo this two complete turns,,now this is where you need to be a bit of a contortionist ,lift both knees up until they are forcing on the sides of the steering wheel ,you then need to hit the center of the steering wheel,if its a nut an extension bar/drift will suffice,if its a torq bolt then the torq socket placed over the head and hit with the drift will do,Dont turn the clockspring when removed Mark the position of the clockspring (INNER TO OUTER)if you are taking this off ,i use masking or insulation tape for this to hold them so they can not turn,,but if you have neither, then nail varnish will do mark on inner and outer as alignment points...crimson reds a good shade as it sets my lips off when having my pint, oops wrong forum
